ROBOT CELL

The robot cell is designed for cleaning individual components with complex geometries using a high-pressure water jet, such as cylinder heads, cylinder blocks or pump casings. An integrated robotic system handles the components and water jets, enabling targeted external and internal cleaning of components with channels and internal cavities, meeting high cleanliness requirements whilst maintaining medium throughput rates. Silberhorn tailors the robotic cell to your specific requirements.

Fully customisable

to meet your requirements

Made in Germany

In-house manufacturing, worldwide service

Overview

  • Field of application

    • Cleaning using a high-pressure water jet at medium flow rates for high cleanliness requirements
    • For processing individual components such as cylinder heads, cylinder blocks and pump housings
    • Targeted external and internal cleaning of components with internal cavities and channels

  • Procedure

Multi-stage processes for cleaning, high-pressure water jetting and hot-air drying can be implemented

Advantages

  • Modular

    • Various robot brands can be used, such as KUKA, Stäubli and ABB
    • An automatic gripper-changing system can be integrated for different components, enabling even single-unit production
    • Can be used as a pre-wash or final wash unit, depending on the model and specification
  • Clean on all sides

The robot cell reliably cleans even technically complex geometries featuring deep intersecting bores and blind holes. Internal cavities and channels are cleaned just as thoroughly as the component surface, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.

  • High-performance

With a variable water pressure of up to 2,000 bar and multi-stage processes comprising cleaning, high-pressure water jetting and hot-air drying, the robotic cell achieves reliable results even in demanding applications. Injection-flush cleaning in the IFW tank and using several water jets.

  • Available

Large maintenance hatches make it particularly easy to access the media tanks. This helps to minimise maintenance requirements and ensure high system availability.

  • Durable

The base frame, tank, enclosure and all components in contact with the process medium are made of 1.4301 stainless steel. This ensures that the robot cell remains robust and durable in the long term, even under continuous operation.

  • Energy-efficient and safe

Insulating the tank, process chamber, and all filters and pipework on all sides will significantly reduce your energy costs. At the same time, it provides reliable protection against burns, thereby ensuring the necessary accident prevention measures are in place.
