WASHING TESTS AT THE
TECHNICAL TEST FACILITY UNDER REAL-WORLD CONDITIONS

To find the best solutions for cleaning and deburring tasks, a series of tests and a systematic approach are often essential. That is why we operate our own test and development centre, which houses various water-based production lines. There, we carry out preliminary tests to help identify the most suitable process for your component. 

For you, this means peace of mind before making a decision: you know in advance whether and how your cleaning task can be solved.

WE KNOW WHAT MATTERS

Which process is best depends on many factors. The nature of the component and the level of contamination on it play a very significant role. Through a series of tests, we determine the ideal combination of temperature, time, cleaning chemicals, mechanical action and media preparation. In doing so, we do not simply consider the cleaning stage in isolation, but look at the processes within your production as a whole. After all, a perfect cleaning result can only be achieved when the preceding processes, handling and packaging are all in harmony.

A trial at the technical centre identifies precisely the points at which cleaning projects would otherwise fail:

  • Can my cleaning task even be tackled cost-effectively?
  • Which process is suitable for the component, material and initial level of contamination?
  • What parameters are required in terms of temperature, time, chemicals, mechanics and media preparation?
  • Which system is the right one, and what equipment do I actually need?
  • Can I achieve the required level of cleanliness consistently, and can this be verified?

THE SILBERHORN REALTIME-TEST

The most convincing way to see how it works is to look at your own component. In a Realtime-Test, we clean contaminated parts from your current production line and demonstrate the performance of our systems step by step. You can watch every stage of the process live, ask questions about the parameters and assess the result directly on site. If you wish, you can attend the test in person at our technical centre.

Cleaning, deburring and fitting

  • Cleaning, rinsing and deburring at different pressures
  • Variation in pressure, temperature, cleaning chemicals and concentration

Document and support

  • Production of sample catalogues
  • Conducting tests in your presence, on site in person if required
  • Verification of technical purity in our own testing laboratory, if required
